Croatia coach Bilic plays down England comments

Croatia coach Slaven Bilic has played down remarks he made last week about the England side lacking "Englishness" and "aggression".

Bilic, preparation for the crucial qualifying Wednesday night's World Cup against Fabio Capello at Wembley Stadium, says he was misquoted.

"I praised and praised Fabio Capello England team," he said after his team trained on the lawn, famous Tuesday night. "Of course we have not lost Englishness.


"What I said was that it is more organized, more solid, which can control the game almost completely and are now playing a different game.
