Martin Palermo scored twice to hand Argentina confidence boosting 2-0 win over Ghana in a friendly at the Olympic Stadium in Cordoba on Wednesday night.

Argentina, which resulted in a home based side completely dominated Ghana mediocre side with incisive attacking football. Africans were also without their regular team members first.

The Albicelestes created several goal scoring opportunities early in the game, but faltered when it came down to finishing them off.
