Straka Czech sack interim coach

PRAGUE July 1 2009 - Incoming Czech Football Federation (CMFS) Ivan Hasek head on Tuesday (June 30) Frantisek Straka fired as national coach just a month after his appointment on a temporary basis.

"I thanked him for his work and told him the CMFS would not keep in his post," Hasek told reporters.

Straka, who replaced Petr Rada, also shot in the back of the poor rating of the World Cup, has come to a short-term contract which expired on Tuesday.
